Lukáš Mensator
Lukáš Mensator ( born August 18, 1984 Sokolov, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech professional ice hockey goaltender who has played his youth when HC Energie Karlovy Vary.

Career
Lukáš Mensator began his career as a hockey player at the age of seven years in the youth of the HC Karlovy Vary, for which he was active in the U18 and U20 Extraliga until 2002. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2002 in the third round than a total of 83 players from the Vancouver Canucks. Then played the goalkeeper from 2002 to 2004 for two years in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League, where he stood 67 's between the posts for Ottawa. With the 67 's, he reached the final of the 2003 J. Ross Robertson Cup, but his team failed because of the Kitchener Rangers. In 2004 he returned to the Czech Republic and since then plays for his hometown club in the Extraliga.
At the end of the season 2004 /05 he was loaned to the BK Mladá Boleslav, reaching with this playoff semi-finals of the League 1. For the 2007 /08 season he was a regular goalkeeper of the Carlsbad and in 2008 reached the Czech runner. A year later he was when he defeated with Energy Czech Master with his teammates the HC Slavia Prague in the best-of- seven series 4-2 victories. Mensator was named after the season for playoff MVP and Goalkeeper of the Year.
Internationally
For the Czech Republic began Mensator at the U18 Junior World Cup 2002, the Under-20 Junior World Cup in 2003 and 2004 in part. From 2007 he was in friendly matches and games of Euro Hockey Tour the squad the Lord choice, but in 2009 he was nominated for his first World Championship for Men.
