Luke Sellars
Luke Sellars (born 21 May 1981 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who played for the Texas Brahmas in the Central Hockey League.
Career
Luke Sellars career began in 1998 in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League with the Ottawa 67 's. The NHL Atlanta Thrashers club secured the rights to the left-handed shooters in the second round of the NHL Entry Draft 1999 30 In 2002, Sellars signed his first professional contract there. About Atlanta's farm team in Greenville ( ECHL ) and Chicago (American Hockey League) was able to work your way to the left gunner in the NHL team, completed for the Thrashers but just a game.
The following two years graduated Sellars primarily with the Chicago Wolves. Because of personal problems he set the 2004/05 season completely and then started to continue his career with the Danbury Trashers in the UHL. The 2006/ 07 played Sellars at the Rødovre Mighty Bulls in the Danish first division. There, he scored 8 goals in 29 games and conceded 15 goals templates also he collected 252 penalty minutes. The beginning of the 2007/08 season he spent with the Iserlohn Roosters in the DEL, after he had during a try-out phase of a contract can recommend. On 2 October 2007 it was announced that the club was forced to dismiss him without notice on disciplinary grounds. He then moved into the Slovak Extraliga for MHC Martin.
