Lydia (singer)
Lydia (actually Lydia Rodríguez Fernández, born January 15, 1980 in Madrid) is a Spanish pop singer.
At the age of 16, her debut album, Lydia, which was directly a huge success in Spain appeared. She was selected to compete for their country at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1999 in Jerusalem. She ended up with the pop single No quiero escuchar in last place. Her last solo album was released in 2002. In 2007, she was active for several months as a musical performer in the Spanish production of Jesus Christ Superstar. In 2008 she became the new singer of the famous Spanish Soul Band Presuntos Implicados.
