MacKenzie Boyd-Clowes

Career

Boyd - Clowes, who belongs to the national squad since 2005, was next to Stefan Read as much hope of Canadians for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

His first international jumping graduated from Boyd - Clowes with only 14 years on 17 September 2005 at the FIS Cup Italian Predazzo. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo Boyd - Clowes qualified only for jumping on the large hill, missed there but the second round and finished at the end of the 34th. From the normal hill he was not previously competed for the qualification. 31 July 2011 succeeded in on the Tremplins du Praz in Courchevel in second for the first time the leap onto the podium at the Continental. Six months later, he jumped on January 20, 2012 in Sapporo for the first time on snow on the podium. At the Canadian Championships on the Whistler Olympic Park Ski Jumps 31 March 2012, which were attended by foreign starter, he won both the normal and the large hill in each case before the German Martin Schmitt. His first Continental Cup victory he celebrated on the Brunnentalschanze in Stams the summer competitions on 30 June 2012.
