Madhavaram

Madhavaram (Tamil: மாதவரம் Mātavaram [ ma ː d̪əʋarʌm ], also Madavaram, Mathavaram ) is a district of Chennai (Madras ), the capital of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Madhavaram is one of 15 zones ( zones ) of Chennai and includes twelve districts ( wards ).

Madhavaram is located approximately seven miles from the city center in the north west of Chennai. The Madhavaram zone has an area of ​​33.5 square kilometers.
