Malaya at the 1960 Summer Olympics

Malaya took part in the Summer Olympic Games in 1960 in Rome, Italy, with a delegation of nine athletes (all men) at eleven competitions in four sports part. There were no medals are won. The youngest athlete was the Sprinter Mani Jegathesan (16 years and 307 days), the oldest athlete was the marksman Chan Kooi Chye (39 years and 82 days). It was after the Summer Olympics 1956, the second participation in the Olympic Summer Games for the country. Standard-bearer was the Sprinter Shahrudin Mohamed Ali.
