Nigeria at the 1960 Summer Olympics

Nigeria participated in the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome, Italy, with a delegation of twelve athletes (all men ) to twelve competitions in two sports part. There were no medals are won. The youngest athlete was the boxer Karimu Young (18 years and 158 days), the oldest athlete was the sprinter Jimmy Omagbemi (29 years and 286 days). It was the third participation in the Olympic Summer Games for the country.
