Ceylon at the 1960 Summer Olympics
Ceylon participated in the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome, Italy, part of a delegation of five athletes (all men) in five competitions in four sports. There were no medals are won. The youngest athlete was the cyclist Maurice Coomarawel (20 years and 137 days), the oldest athlete was the Athlete Linus Diaz (26 years and 353 days). It was the fourth participation in the Olympic Summer Games for the country.
