Malínky

Malínky ( German Malinek, formerly Mallinek ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers north of Koryčany and belongs to Okres Vyškov.

Geography

Malínky is on the left of the Litava ( Leitha ) Hills at the junction between the Litenčické, Ždánický ( Ždánický Forest ) and Mars Mountains. To the north rises the Chroustová (345 m), in the northeast of the Na pasekách (380 m), southeast of the Kravi hora ( 376 m), in the south of the Žaroušky (352 m) and Padělky (332 m) and in the northwest the Galášky (311 m). By Malínky the road leads E 50/I/50 from Brno to Uherské Hradiště.

Neighboring towns are Kunkovice in the north, Lísky in the northeast, Chvalnov and Kožušice in the east, Střílky, Liskovec the southeast, Dvorek, Blisice, Koryčany and Mouchnice in the south, Nemotice and Snovídky the southwest, Brankovice in the west and Komorov, Chvalkovice and Nemochovice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was made in 1408 in connection with Jan Beličar of Malínky. The town's name is derived possibly from the name painting. 1481 sold Puta of Lichtenburg along with the castle Střílky also has its share of Malínky to John the Elder of Oynitz. In the 16th century Malínky has been connected to the rule Bučovice. At the beginning of the 17th century the village consisted of 21 properties. At this time, Prince of Liechtenstein purchased the rule. 1790 lived in 44 houses in the village 49 families. 1850 consisted of 58 houses and Malínky had 289 inhabitants.

After the abolition of patrimonial Malinky made ​​from 1850 onwards a municipality in the district team Wischau. 1890 lived in 61 houses in the village 307 people. The Liechtenstein united 1890, the Dominions and Steinitz Butschowitz for Good Butschowitz - Steinitz. The volunteer fire department was founded 1911. Between 1950 and 1960 the village belonged to Okres Bučovice and came to its repeal by the beginning of 1961 back to Okres Vyškov.
