Common Sky A & N Aviation GmbH is an Austrian charter airline for business jets based in Linz and based on the Linz Airport.

Business

Common Sky was founded as mapjet in 2002 and is 100 % owned by the MAP Holding GmbH, which in turn each have a 50 % owned by the MN Private Foundation Private Foundation and PAF. later, the MAP was holding the property of paf private foundation.

On 27 December 2011, the last Linz-based subsidiary reported map.management planning gmbh, which represented the original " mapjet " bankruptcy. Project Austriair

The former mapjet planned from April 2010 international scheduled flights from Vienna -Schwechat airport to offer. For this purpose, the name Austriair was initially planned, but was waived on the following protests by Austrian Airlines.

MAPJet had set itself by its own account with the Russian government regarding the traffic rights, requesting the status as the flag carrier of the Austrian Ministry of Transport. Instead of the originally planned three leased Embraer 195 with 100 seats, a Bombardier Dash 8Q -400 with 72 seats and an Embraer 190 should be used with 100 seats.

On 21 April 2010 the then mapjet was known, however, to discontinue the project Austriair.
