Marco Schönbächler

Marco Schonbachler ( born January 11, 1990 in Oberurdorf ) is a Swiss football player.

Career

The striker comes from the youth department of FC Zurich. Since the back half of the season 2006/ 07, he comes regularly to brief appearances in the Super League. He completed games for the Under-17 national team of Switzerland. In March 2007 he extended his contract at FC Zurich to 30 June 2010.

On 9 May 2007, the talented Urdorf scored his first Super League goal for FC Zurich in the championship game against FC Aarau.

On 24 May 2007, the 17- year-old striker celebrates his first league title with FC Zurich. After a 2-0 victory over city rivals Grasshopper Club Zurich his team ensured he and the 11th league title in history.
