Marcos Chuva

Marcos Chuva ( born August 8, 1989) is a Portuguese athlete. He specializes in the long jump. At a height of 1.83 m his competition weight is 75 kg.

Life

Marcos Chuva attended the Escola de Salesian Manique in Alcabideche and began 2003 with the Athletics. His coach at the school was Fernando Pereira. Since 2007 Chuva start for Benfica. He studied at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

Achievements

In the Jogos da Lusofonia 2009 at Estádio Universitário de Lisboa in Lisbon he won with 8.09 m in the long jump gold medal. In the first league of the track team in the European Football Championship 2010 Puskás Ferenc Stadium in Budapest, he was second with 7.96 meters in the long jump behind Michel Tornéus.
