Marcus Vinnerborg
Karl Johan Marcus Vinnerborg ( born August 8, 1972) is a Swedish professional hockey referee, who is so far mainly used in the Elitserien, as well as at international meetings. Since the season 2010/11 is used as the first European referee in the North American professional league NHL.
Career
Vinneborg first played hockey on IF Troja Ljungby -, 1986, he also took on the team of the province of Småland in the prestigious national U17 tournament TV spitting part. Private
Vinnerborg lives with his wife and twin daughters in Ljungby. Prior to his professional career as a referee, he taught as a secondary school English and German.
