Marek Suchý

Marek Suchy ( born March 29, 1988 in Prague) is a Czech football player.

The central defender played with 17 years in the Gambrinus Liga. In his first pro season 2005/ 06 he came up with 21 missions and was voted the best young player of the season, the following year he played 16 times. In the summer of 2007, he was with the Czech team runners-up can participate in the U- 20 World Cup in Canada, where it does not almost because of a facial fracture by Luboš Pecka. In March 2009, Suchy was first convened in the Czech national team, but did not play.

In September 2009, Suchy played his 100th top-flight at the age of 21 years. In the match against Slovan Liberec, which ended 1-1, he led the team of Slavia as a captain on the field. After that, he acted as a permanent team captain.

In the 2010 season Suchy plays on loan with the Russian giants Spartak Moscow. He was then obliged by this.

Since January 2014 he is on loan at FC Basel 1893 under contract. His Swiss Super League debut was on February 2, 2014 at the 3-1 away win in the Stade Olympique de la Pontaise against Lausanne-Sport. Just three days later, on February 5, 2014, he scored his first goal for FC Basel. It marks this goal for interim 2-0 in the quarter-final of the 2013/14 Swiss Cup against Le Mont as Basel won 6-1.
