Marion Ross

Marion Ross ( born October 25, 1928 in Albert Lea, Minnesota Marian Ross ) is an American actress.

Life

Ross grew up as one of three siblings in Albert Lea, Waconia and on Wilmar, Minnesota. She has an older sister Alicia and a younger brother Gordon. At the age of 13 years, Ross changed its name from Marian Marion. After she had finished her second year of high school, she went as au pair girl to Minneapolis. There she took acting lessons at the MacPhail Center for the Arts and attended Southwest High School. A year later, her family moved to San Diego, California.

Ross wrote there at San Diego State College, and was touted as the best actress of the college. After graduating in 1950, she played La Jolla theater. The local director was convinced by her acting skills in such a way that he recommended to start a career on the big screen her. 1951 married Ross Freeman Meskiman. The marriage produced two children went, the actor Jim Meskimen ( born 1959 ), and the director and writer Ellen Plummer, out. In 1969, the couple divorced again.

Today Ross lives with actor Paul Michael in Los Angeles.

Career
