Mark Derlago

Mark Derlago ( born January 17, 1986 in Brandon, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since August 2012 in Anyang Halla Ice Hockey League in Asia under contract.

Career

Derlago began his career as a hockey player with the Portage Terriers in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League before joining the age of 17 in 2003 in the Western Hockey League, another Canadian Junior Football League to the Brandon Wheat Kings, where he was team captain.

As a 21- year-old he was in 2007 for two seasons committed by the Bakersfield Condors in the ECHL and used during both seasons by the Manitoba Moose in the American Hockey League. From 2009 to 2011 Derlago played in the ECHL for the Idaho Steelheads, reached with them the final of the Kelly Cup in two seasons and had some inserts in the AHL, for the Providence Bruins and the Texas Stars. Derlago had no intention to move to Germany and were able to sign him in April 2011, the Lusatian foxes for the 2nd Bundesliga.

In August 2012, the Canadian Anyang Halla of the Asia League Ice Hockey was signed.
