Mark Kenny Carroll

Mark Kenny Carroll ( born November 19, 1896 in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA; † 12 January 1985 in Wichita, Kansas) was Bishop of Wichita.

Life

Mark Kenny Carroll received on 10 June 1922, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the Archdiocese of Saint Louis.

On February 15, 1947, he was named by Pope Pius XII. Bishop of Wichita. The Archbishop of Saint Louis, Joseph Elmer Ritter, donated to him on 23 April of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Indianapolis, Paul Clarence Schulte, and the Bishop of Leavenworth, George Joseph Donnelly. On September 27, 1967 Mark Carroll Kenny resigned as Bishop of Wichita and Pope Paul VI. appointed him titular bishop of Taparura.
