Markus Hacksteiner

Markus Hack Steiner ( born November 18, 1964 in Appenzell ) is a former Swiss Central, obstacle - and long-distance runners.

The European Athletics Championships 1986 in Stuttgart and at the World Athletics Championships 1987 in Rome, he left in the flow above 1500 m. In 1988, he won over 3000 meters silver medal at the Indoor Athletics European Championships in Budapest, reaching more than 1500 m the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Seoul.

In 1990 he was eighth over 1500 meters at the European Athletics Championships in Split, and in 1991 he won the Zurich New Year's run. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, he came over 1500 meters does not go beyond the first round.
