Mary Kay Place

Mary Kay Place ( born September 23, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma ) is an American actress and singer.

Life and achievements

Mary Kay Place graduated from the University of Tulsa, she moved to Hollywood. She made her debut as an actress in an episode of the television series All in the Family from the year 1973. For her role in the television series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, she played in 1976, she won the 1977 Emmy Award. In music film New York, New York ( 1977) she played alongside Liza Minnelli and Robert De Niro.

For her role in the film drama Manny & Lo (1996 ) Place was nominated in 1997 for the Independent Spirit Award. For her role in the comedy Being John Malkovich (1999) she was nominated in 2000 as a member of the actor ensemble for the Screen Actors Guild Award. For her role in the film drama Nine Lives (2005) In 2005 she was honored as a member of the actor ensemble with the Bronze Leopard at the International Film Festival of Locarno, also she was nominated for a Gotham Award.

As a by- product of their labor in the production of the television series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, she released the music album Tonite! At the Capri Lounge Loretta Haggers, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. In 1979 she released the album with John Stewart Bombs Away Dream Baby.
