Mathias Fetsch

Mathias Fetsch ( born September 30, 1988 in Malsch ) is a German football player. The striker has been synonymous with the 2013/14 season in the squad of FC Augsburg.

Career

Association

In his youth, the striker played initially at Bulacher SC. He played from the e- youth thirteen years at Karlsruher SC. On 12 May 2007, he came to his first race in the Regionalliga Süd, when he came off the bench in the game in Pfullendorf. By the end of 2008, a further 41 missions in which he was able to achieve nine goals for the KSC.

During the winter break of the season 2008/ 09 he moved to league rivals 1860 Munich II, where it was used on 15 March 2009 in the first game after the winter break for the first time. A week later, he made his professional debut in Fürth. Coach Uwe Wolf had called him for the away game in the squad, as the other lions striker was injured or struck. Fetsch came on in the 83rd minute and thus got its first use in the 2nd Bundesliga. A few weeks later, followed by another short-term use. For the U23 in the regional league he played in this second round 13 games in which he scored five goals. In the season 2009/10 he was not a single time in the squad of professionals. But he played in the regional league 33 games in which he met twelve times into the goal, in just the last season game against SSV Reutlingen he scored three goals.

In summer 2010, Mathias Fetsch left the Munich Lions and signing with the Lions from Braunschweig in the 3rd Liga a two year contract. 2010/11 he celebrated with harmony the championship and the associated rise in the second Bundesliga. After the 2011/12 season, his contract was not renewed and Fetsch moved to third division side Kickers Offenbach, where he most recently even became a captain.

For the 2013/14 season Fetsch moved to FC Augsburg. In the first division, he signed a contract until 30 June 2016. His Bundesliga debut came in the 2-1 win against SC Freiburg on 14 September 2013. However, remained his only use in the first round. In January 2014 Mathias Fetsch moved on loan to second division side Energie Cottbus, where he received a contract until 30 June 2016.

National

Fetsch came so far in the German junior national teams to five inserts. He played four times for the U -19, where he was able to achieve a goal, and once he came to the U-20 are used.
