Matthias Merz

Matthias Merz (born 1 February 1984 in Menziken, Aargau ) is a Swiss orienteering and is a world leader in this sport. He became internationally known by winning complete sets medal at the Junior World Championships in 2003 and 2004, and especially by the victory over the long distance in the World Championships 2007.
