Max Wissel

Maximilian "Max" Wissel (* November 24, 1989 in Alzenau ) is a German racing driver.

Career

After Wissel began his motorsport career in karting in 1996, he moved in 2006 to Formula racing in the German Formula BMW to GU -Racing International. With a podium placement at the end of the season, he finished in eleventh place overall. Wissel 2007 remained in the German Formula BMW and denied his second season in this series. With a win, he finished the season in sixth place in the overall standings. In 2008 he started the season in the Northern European Formula Renault. In August, he joined the first season of Superleague Formula and started team of FC Basel, which was supervised by GU -Racing International. At the end of the season, he finished 15th overall. 2009 remained Wissel in the Superleague Formula in the team of FC Basel. With a win, he improved to third place in the overall standings. He was, among other things, Giorgio Pantano, the GP2 Champion of 2008 behind them. 2010 was the German in the Superleague Formula and denied his third season for FC Basel. He won a race and he managed to defend third overall for FC Basel.
