Geography
Geographical Location
My home is located in the western region of Middle Franconia. The town is crossed by My Heimer Mühlbach, which rises at the foot of Dürr located 3 km west mountain. At the western end of the town this is fed by the Wolf Bronner Mühlbach.

History
My home was first mentioned in 1154. The possessions of the lords of Treuchtlingen and wood rings acquired the Margrave of Ansbach in the 14th and 15th centuries. The place in today's Middle Franconia part of the 1792 acquired by Prussia Principality of Ansbach, which belonged to the Frankish Empire Circle from 1500. As part of Ansbach is the place fell in the Treaty of Paris ( February 1806 ) by exchange to the Kingdom of Bavaria.
Incorporations
On October 1, 1972, until then independent municipality Wolfsbronn was incorporated with its districts. Short Altheim was added on 1 May 1978.

Economy, agriculture and forestry
In 1998 there were, according to official statistics in manufacturing, and in trade and transport, no social insurance contributions at the workplace. In other areas, were employed to social security at the workplace 49 people. Social insurance contributions at residence, there were a total of 282 in the manufacturing sector, there were 7 businesses in construction 2 companies. In addition, in 1999, there were 57 farms with an agricultural area of 988 ha, of which 765 ha of arable land and 223 ha of permanent grassland.
