Menemen Belediyespor
Menemen Belediyespor is a Turkish football club from the city menemen the western Turkish province of Izmir whose official first foundation under the name Menemenspor goes back to the year 1945. After this first club in 1991 heavily in debt broke up, in 1993 he was re-founded under the name Yeni Menemen Belediyespor. Later the name changed to the present form. Their home games contests the team menemen city stadium. The club colors are yellow and blue.
History
Establishment and first years
In the Kresitstadt menemen 1927 different societies, was founded under the name Türk menemen Ocağı İdman Yurdu. Since this association had not been registered as an association in the responsible authorities, this association was not registered as such.
The first official foundation took place in 1947 under the name Spor Kulübü menemen Gençlik or short menemen Gençlik in the local Community Center instead. The Halkevleri were state -sponsored folk houses in which the socio-culture of the population was encouraged. The founding members were Bedri Onat, Nadir Gündüz, Muhittin Hakkı, Nizamettin Bay, Saim Dinçer, Vecip Dolunay and Halil Uyanık. As the clubs colors of the then very popular Istanbul club Fenerbahce were elected.
After the club was founded, the club participated in the Mahalli Lig, a kind of regional league. In the season 1942/43, Izmir reached in this league Altınordu the championship, while menemen Gençlik reached the third place in the table. By the year 1950 Menemenspor played in this league. Then the Mahalli Lig was fundamentally changed and collected the teams of all district towns of the province of Izmir in it. 1955 Menenmenspor reached the championship of this league. In the 1950s, in addition, the association founded menemen Spor Kulübü Güneş bw. short menemen Güneşspor. Thus, in the season 1956/57, took part zwie from menemen teams at the Mahalli Lig. The two teams played three years together in this league. After these three years, Güneşspor withdrew because of financial difficulties of the league. The season 1960/61, has been very problematic for the club. In the home game against Armutlu Gençlik it came to a mass brawl in the referee was assaulted. In response, the Turkish Football Federation suspentierte menemen Gençlik a year from all competitions and withdrew most players indefinitely the license. For 1962/ 63, the suspension for player and club has been lifted, whereupon the Board of Directors met again and chose Çetin Ceylan about the club president. Entry into professional football and the third league season
After the summer of 1980, the Turkish professional football had been reduced from three to only two professional leagues, 1984, on directive of the then President Turgut Ozal, the third highest professional football league, the 3rd Lig, with its present name TFF 2 Lig reintroduced. In addition, it was announced that one could apply for a league participation after meeting certain requirements and conditions. In order to advance the city's development, several Stadtnotablen tried it, to meet the requirements. For example, demanded the Turkish Football Federation a guarantee of 15 million Turkish Lira. This sum was provided mainly through the joint efforts of the mayor İlhami Gursoy and the club president Sabri Karakaş available. After they had met the requirements, the national football federation confirmed participation. Thus, the club took part in the season 1984/85 of the reintroduction of third Lig with its new name Spor Kulübü menemen or in the short form Menemenspor. In the first season they finished behind the Manisaspor and Akhisarspor the third place in the table. In subsequent seasons the club played the entire season for the championship and missed the season end with the rise in the second Futbol Ligi.
Towards the end of the season 1985/86 Kadir Menteşoğlu was elected club president. Under the leadership of this club presidents to invest heavily in the team and set as coach Mustafa Özkula. Second founding

Return to professional football and modern times
