Messier 58

Messier 58 (also known as NGC 4579 ) is a 9.6 like bright spiral galaxy with a surface area of 5.9 '× 4.7 ' in the constellation Virgo. Most sources believe that it is a barred spiral galaxy of type SBb in the Hubble sequence in M58. Messier 58 was discovered on April 15, 1779 by the French astronomer Charles Messier.
