Metallurg Zhlobin (Russian Металлург Жлобин ) is a Belarusian ice hockey club from Zhlobin, who plays in the Belarusian Extraliga. The club was founded in 2006 and again plays its home matches at the Ice Palace Zhlobin, which offers 2,000 spectators.

History

The club joined the first time in the season 1985/86 in appearance, as he participated in the second division of the Byelorussian SSR. 1989 realized the first team of the club promoted to the highest regional league and was called from this point Belstal Zhlobin. From 1994 Belstal also took part in the East European Hockey League.

After the 1995/96 season, the club was disbanded. In May 2006, Metallurg was re-established and since then takes to the top division, the Extraliga, in part.
