Mezitli

Mezitli is one of four districts of the city of Mersin and the same time a district of Mersin Province in southern Turkey. The district lies to the east of the province. Mezitli has 126 112 and County 138 168 inhabitants ( 2010). In 1968 the mayor's office in the place Mezitli was founded. At that time Mezitli still lay outside the city of Mersin, but was soon incorporated by Mersin rapid growth. 2008, the Mersin province center was divided into four new districts. In addition to the city Mezitli there are two other municipalities and 15 villages.
