Michael Beck (singer)

Michael "Michi " Beck ( born December 11, 1967 in Stuttgart), also known by the stage name brand, Dee Jot house brand, and the former Burger King B, is a member of the hip- hop group The Fantastic Four. He takes over in the band the part of the DJ and MCs. He is also part of the duo Turntablerocker.

Life

Michael Beck has been interested in his school days for disco music that was not popular at that time. After the 11th grade, he left the Stuttgart Charles High School and made his parents' wishes 1987-1990 apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant who did not like him. For him, it was clear that he wanted to become an artist, and so he made a large collection of plates on and brought the DJing at. Mid-1987 there was the first contact with Thomas D, Andreas Rieke and Smudo and there was the terminal team, today's Fantastic Four. He also took over the German synchronization of the Skipper in Madagascar, Madagascar 2 and Madagascar 3

Beck lives with his wife Ulrike, born butcher and their daughter in Berlin.

Solo career

His solo album he produced worldwide in 1998 along with his DJ colleague Thomilla in the Stuttgart Benz Town Studios. The two first met in 1994 in a Stuttgart record store and found that they were both interested in the same music and had a lot in common. The first result of their collaboration was to be worldwide with the title taken literally. House brand won reinforcement of various musical acts. In addition to house people Afrob Markes Stuttgart and Max by the Friends also MC Rene, Billy Allen and bandmate Smudo came into the studio to record a few tracks with him. Global was the album through collaboration with Wyclef Jean ( Fugees ), Melle Mel & Scorpio ( Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five) and Yvette Michelle. Each of them can be heard on a common plot with house brand on the CD. The following singles were released from the album:
