Michael Buchleitner

Michael Leitner Book (born 14 October 1969 in Vienna) is a former Austrian obstacle and long distance runners.

At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, he started over 3000 meter steeplechase, but resigned in the run- off. In the same discipline he won the 1993 gold and bronze at the Universiade in 1997 at the Universiade. At World Athletics Championships In 1993 he was in Stuttgart Tenth, 1997 in Athens, he came into the semi-finals, and in 1999 in Seville, he failed in the flow.

At this time, book Leitner had already ventured on the marathon route and took sixth place at the Hamburg Marathon. Michael Leitner book has a degree in Business Administration and established himself as self-employed entrepreneurs. With run4business he runs a service company in running area, which is responsible for the Wachau- marathon since 2008, when the book Leitner 1998 and 2003 won over the half marathon distance, and with ecosports consulting a sports management agency. He is married to Ellen Leitner book and has a son and a daughter.
