Michał Krasenkow

Michał Krasenkow (Russian: Михаил Красенков, scientific transliteration Mikhail Krasenkov; born November 14, 1963 in Moscow ) is a leading Polish chess master of Russian descent.

Career

Krasenkow is oriented pictures and mathematicians since 1989, Grand Master of the World Chess Federation FIDE. Until his departure to Poland in 1992 and the adoption of the Polish citizenship in 1996 he recorded numerous tournament victories: Budapest, 1989, Vienna 1990, Gausdal 1991, Katowice 1992, Moscow ( Tal Memorial ) 1992, Metz 1993, Pardubice 1993 and 1994, Las Palmas 1993 Stockholm ( Rilton Cup) 1994/1995 and 1995/ 1996.

After Krasenkow naturalized Pole had become, he won the 2000 and 2002 Polish Championship. Since the Chess Olympiad 1996 he is a member of the Polish Olympic Team. 13 times he was Polish team champion ( an unofficial record ). His successes in international tournaments he sat likewise continued: Asti 1996 Reggio Emilia 1996/1997, Buenos Aires 1998, Cutro 1999, Shanghai 2000, Barlinek 2001, Kavala 2001 Bad Wiessee 2001 Wijk aan Zee B - 2002, Budapest 2004, Vlissingen 2006, Copenhagen 2007, Vlissingen 2009 and Stockholm ( Rilton Cup) 2012/13.

In the German Chess Bundesliga he played in the 1992/93 season for VfL Sindelfingen from 1997 to 1999, for the SG Bochum 31 and from 2002 to 2007 for the OSC Baden -Baden ( to 2004 SC Baden- Oos, since 2008 OSG Baden- Baden), with which he won in 2007 the German team championship. In Poland he played until 1998 SzK Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski, with whom he was in 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997 and 1998 Polish team champion, followed by 2009 SzK Polonia Warszawa, which was established in 1999 to 2005 and 2009 Polish team champion and since then again for SzK Stilon Gorzów. In 1990, Krasenkow with the SK Petrosian Moscow, the Soviet team championship. In the British Four Nations Chess League he played in the 2005/06 season for Guildford A & DC, in the French team championship played Krasenkow in the season 2005/ 06 for CMEC Monaco, since the 2008/ 09 season he plays for L' Echiquier Chalonnaise, with whom he was in 2010 a French team champion.

At times, he also worked as a consultant of chess of the Rybka team. 2012 Title FIDE Senior Trainer, he was awarded. He published several important opening theoretical work:
