Miguel Torres Gómez
Miguel Torres Gómez ( born January 28, 1986 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football player.
His preferred position is the right side defense, but his versatility allows him to play on the left and in the center of defense.
Career
In the club
Miguel Torres started his footballer career already with nine years at Real Madrid. When the people of Madrid he went through all youth categories, before he was taken in summer 2006 in the squad of the second team Real Madrid Castilla. His debut in the first team, he celebrated in the Spanish Cup on 25 October 2006 against Ecija Balompié. The injury-related failures of the full-back Roberto Carlos, Marcelo and Míchel Salgado and his strong performances meant that he regularly stood on the starting grid of the first team in January 2007. In August 2009, Torres moved to FC Getafe, Real Madrid kept a repurchase option until 2011. In August 2013 Torres signed a three -year contract with Greek giants Olympiakos Piraeus.

Miguel Torres celebrated on 6 February 2007 against England his debut in the Spanish U- 21st
