Kostas Manolas

Konstantinos " Kostas " Manolas (born 14 June 1991 Naxos) is a Greek footballer who currently stands at Olympiakos Piraeus under contract. His preferred position is central defense.

Manolas began his career at Thrasyvoulos Fylis, where he came to his first stakes in the Super League in the second half of the season 2008/ 09. After the descent of Thrasyvoulos Fylis from the first division Manolas moved in summer 2009 to AEK Athens, where he was in 2011 Greek Cup winner. After the season 2011/12 he left AEK Athens and joined Olympiakos on.

National

Manolas was appointed by Otto Rehhagel in the preliminary squad of the Greek national team for the World Cup 2010. For the final squad however, he was not nominated. Manolas finally debuted in February 2013 in a friendly match against Switzerland as a national player.
