Mihai Trăistariu

Mihai Traistariu ( born December 16, 1976 in Piatra Neamţ, Neamţ county ) is a Romanian singer and musician.

From 1998 to 2004 he formed together with Dorin Topala the duo Valahia; Subsequently he began his solo career.

Trăistarius musical career is closely linked to the Euro Vision Song Contest. Overall, he took with Valahia and as a soloist five times on the Romanian Trials part. In 2006 he was able to win the title Tornero against national competition. With the euro dance song in English and Italian, he reached 4th place and the highest ever for Romania score of 172 points in the final of the Euro Vision Song Contest 2006 in Athens. In Greece, the song Tornero has appeared in a duet with the singer Tamta and is sung in English, Italian and Greek. The amazing thing about his voice is that she has a vocal range of 5 1/3 octave.

Currently Traistariu lives in Constanta. His debut album was released in 2005.
