Mikkeline Kierkgaard
Mikkeline Kierkgaard ( born May 25, 1984 in Hundested, Denmark) is a Danish figure skater and singer.
It started as a one- runner for Denmark and is known for its huge artistic influence. Your Danish coach was Rønne Jensen. Due to quarrels with the Danish Figure Skating Association, she moved in May 2002 to pair skating and launched together with Norman Jeschke for Germany. Your pair of running trainers in Germany was Knut Schubert.
Kierkgaard / Jeschke were third in the German Championship in 2004. Due to an ISU rule relating to the countries they could change internationally in 2004, however, do not participate in international championships. In the 2005 season they fell out due to illness and injury. The pair continued to work together in Berlin and prepared there for the next season and the potential at the Olympics before. However Mikkeline Kierkgaard had not then the German citizenship, a prerequisite for a place in the Olympic Winter Games. In the summer of 2005, the couple attended a training camp in Vancouver, Canada.
Because of repeated injury ended her skating career Mikkeline Kierkgaard in November 2005. Violation series began in October 2002 when Kierkgaard with the figure skaters Florian Just unhappy collided and a severe concussion and a skull -brain trauma drew upon. Kierkgaard / Jeschke could go to the start because of this many injuries never at European or World Championships for Germany.
They stood in for Claire Danes at the skating scenes in the film It's All About Love by Danish director Thomas Vinterberg
Because of competitive sports Mikkeline Kierkgaard had left school prematurely. She plans to publish her autobiography.
Since 2008, Kierkgaard operated as a singer. Their first single Migratory Bird appeared on 14 February 2008.
