Miles (Queensland)

Miles is a small town in southern Queensland, Australia. The city is located about 340 kilometers west of the capital, Brisbane, 130 kilometers north-west of Dalby and 140 kilometers east of Roma in the Western Downs region of Queensland. Miles has about 1,150 inhabitants.

Miles is on a flat area of ​​the Dogwood Creek, on which the German explorer Ludwig Leichhardt Australia crossed the river in 1844 on his first expedition Australia.
