The Office Mid- North Frisia is a formed on 1 April 2008 Office of the municipalities of the former offices Bredstedt- country and Stollberg and by then Office Bredstedt free city in which the administrative office is located.

Location

The Office is bounded on the west by the North Sea and the municipality and Reußenköge, on the north by the Office Südtondern, in the east and southeast by the offices Schafflund (Kreis Schleswig -Flensburg ) and Viöl and in the south by the District of North Sea treene. The area corresponds to a large extent the historic county Norder Goes Harde.

Chief Administrator

Since 2008, Hans Jakob Paulsen, mayor in Vollstedt, Chief Administrator. For the election period 2013-2018 he was again elected to that office.

Management community

The Office Mid- North Frisia leads under an administrative community management business of the office free community Reußenköge.

Administration Building

The administrative building of the Office, the former agricultural school in Bredstedt, is not the property of the Office, but is rented for a period of 20 years from the community Reußenköge who bought the building at the end of 2006 by the State of Schleswig -Holstein and by the end of March has modernized in 2008. The community Reußenköge which so far had to do their administrative business of the city Bredstedt, has kept its official freedom, but is now looked after by a management agreement by the new Office Middle North Frisia. The rent is thereby offset against the administrative fee. After 20 years, the building is transferred to the office in half.
