Mohamed Sarr

Mohamed Adama Sarr ( born December 23, 1983 in Dakar ) is a Senegalese football player. He plays since August 2011 at KRC Genk.

Career

Sarr began his professional career in the youth team of FBC Treviso, where in 2000 he was brought into the first team. In his first season the club was relegated from the B series. Then, the Senegalese was obliged by AC Milan. He came in the 2001/ 02 season to use one. Milan finished the championship in fourth place in Serie A.

He was awarded by the Rossoneri at Galatasaray in Turkey in 2002. There he completed seven championship games and scored one goal, also Sarr came to three appearances in the UEFA Champions League and in the group match against Lokomotiv Moscow scored a goal. In January 2003, it was awarded to the AC Ancona, where he was able to celebrate the promotion to the top Italian league.

At the beginning of the season 2003/ 04 he came to Atalanta, again as part of a loan agreement. For the second time he managed with a club to promotion to Serie A. 2004/ 05 he was loaned to FC Vittoria.

2005 it finally went away from the loan contracts and the central defender moved to Belgium Standard Liège. In his first season with Les Rouches the club was runner-up. In the following season the team came into the Cup final and came third. The big coup came in 2007/ 08, as Liège won the championship and the Super Cup. 2008/ 09, these successes could be repeated. 2009/10 the club was in the championship eights and in the group stage of Europa League only second in Group B, but was able to reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League. Sarr was in this European campaign on ten missions (six in the UEFA Champions League and four in the Europa League ).

For Senegal, he has played twelve times. He participated in the Africa Cup of Nations 2008 in Ghana part, but came to no use. His debut was already 2001.
