Mounir Chaftar ( born January 29, 1986 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German - Tunisian football player. It is mostly used as a left-back. He plays since January 2014 for the first FC Saarbrücken.

Career

Mounir Chaftar was active in the Youth for Eintracht Frankfurt and Kickers Offenbach. From 2005 to 2008 he played in the reserve team of Eintracht Frankfurt. In the professional team, he was usually only a few minutes left in the game as a substitute train. In the Bundesliga season 2008/ 09 Chaftar gave a short spell at MSV Duisburg. During the winter break of the season 2008/ 09 he moved back to his youth club Kickers Offenbach, where he was employed in the third league. In the summer of 2010, the defender joined again at the reserve of Eintracht Frankfurt. A year later he moved to the third division Wacker Burghausen, where he gave 23 July 2011 under coach Rudi Bommer in the game against Rot -Weiss Oberhausen his debut.
