Muda is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Emmaste ( Emmaste vald ). It is the second largest Estonian island of Hiiumaa ( German Dagö ).

Muda is known talu especially for the farm Anupõllu. From there comes the Estonian family of musicians Maaker.

In particular, Juhan Maaker (1845-1930), in the civilian job captain, was after the First World War in Estonia and Finland, a celebrated star of popular entertainment music. Under his nickname Torupilli - Juss ( " Bagpipe Juss " ) came the brilliant musician and businessman to success and some wealth.
