Namdrik Atoll

Namorik ( German outdated: Baring Islands) or Namdrik is an atoll of Ralik chain of the Marshall Islands. The atoll has a land area of 2.8 km ², which encloses a shallow lagoon of 8.4 km ². The lagoon of the atoll has no navigable access to the sea.

Since the end of the 19th century coconut trees were planted for Kopraproduktion on the island. In addition to the coconut banana and pandanus trees grow on Namorik.

There is an airfield on the atoll, IATA code: NDK.

On the atoll lived 1999 814 people.
