Namu Atoll

Namu is an atoll of Ralik chain of the Marshall Islands. The atoll has a land area of 6.27 km ², which encloses a lagoon of 397.12 km ². The nearest atoll is Ailinglapalap located 40 km south.

On the atoll grow among other pandanus trees, coconut trees, breadfruit, bananas and pumpkins.

The inhabitants live by fishing, tourism and the production of copra.

The atoll had 1999 801 inhabitants.
