Nantwich

Nantwich is a small town ( Town) and Civil parish in Cheshire with almost 15,000 inhabitants. The town is located between Nottingham and Liverpool, close to the Welsh border at Weaver.

Nantwich was besieged in the English Civil War to the beginning of 1644 by the Irish.

Here is the seat of Moldavia UK Limited. In the northwest of the Llangollen Canal begins in the 19th century, the place of the Nantwich and Market Drayton Railway has been developed.

Interesting are next to St Mary's Church a few buildings that have survived a major fire in 1583, such as the Churche 's Mansion, the Crown Hotel on the High Street or the 116 Hospital Street, and also the situated 12 kilometers south of Combermere Abbey.
