Towards the end of the season 1948/49, he was accepted by the then head coach Peter Molloy in the cadre of professional team and announced on April 17, 1949 during a game against the Istanbul Football League Beykozspor his professional debut.

At this time played Fenerbahçe in Istanbul Futbol Ligi, since no nation -wide league was present in Turkey. Instead existed in the metropolitan areas such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir regional leagues, of which the İstanbul Futbol Ligi (German: Istanbul Football League ) was considered the most prestigious.
