Negima! Magister Negi Magi

Magister Negi Magi (Japanese魔法 先生 ネギま!, Maho Sensei Negima! ) Is a completed manga series of the Japanese cartoonist Ken Akamatsu. The series was implemented in several anime OVAs, television series and a movie. Under the title Negima!? appeared as a reinterpretation of anime and manga.

It tells the story of the magician Negi, who must teach at a Japanese girls school English and his missing father studied. The work can be classified in the genre action, comedy, romance, drama and ecchi.

Action

The 9 -year-old (traditional counting: 10 years) Negi Springfield, a magician from Wales, is sent with a special mission to Japan to complete his training at the mage academy: He should teach at a girls' school English. Conception

Magister Negi Magi appeared in Japan from February 2003 to March 2012 in individual chapters in the manga magazine Shōnen Magazine of the Kodansha publishing house. These individual chapters were also summarized regularly in 38 tankōbon.

Magister Negi Magi appears among others in France, Italy, Singapore and the United States. Tanoshimi published the manga in the UK and Glénat in Spain.

In German all 38 volumes from October 2004 to April 2013 in Egmont Manga and Anime published. The translation was done in the first two volumes of Monika Klinger, followed by Jens Altmann. In later editions took Jens Altmann also the translation of the first two volumes. As of volume 23 (October 2009) Antje Bockel was responsible for the translation.

In 2013 he started with UQ Holder! a new series with Negi Springfield's grandson as protagonists.

Anime

An OVA Season Maho Sensei Negima entitled! - Shiroki Tsubasa Ala Alba deals with the events after the Mahora Festival to departure to Wales for the Magic World (chapters 176-183 of the manga ). An OVA Season Maho Sensei Negima entitled! - Mo Hitotsu no Sekai covers the events at the beginning of the journey into the magical world. It consists of five episodes and was released from September 2009 to November 2010. These OVA is currently available only in Japanese.

Movie

27 August 2011 came about an hour long movie Gekijōban Maho Sensei Negima! Anime Final (劇場 版 魔法 先生 ネギま! ANIME FINAL ) as a double feature with Gekijōban Hayate no Gotoku! Heaven is a Place on Earth in Japanese cinemas. The film includes an alternate ending of the story arc of "Journey to the Magical World."

Negi Springfield - Yukina Kashiwa Takamichi Takahata - Hiroshi Shizuna Minamoto - Nao Oikawa

From 3 October 2007 to 26 March 2008, a live-action adaptation of the manga was aired as a television series by TV Tokyo. The 26th episode of the series was not broadcast, but published on the Internet. The series is published in Japan on DVD.
