Neri di Bicci
Neri di Bicci (* 1418 in Florence, † 1492 ) was an Italian painter.
Life
Neri di Bicci was born the son of Bicci di Lorenzo (1373-1452) in Florence and received his artistic training in the workshop of his father. After the death of his father he took over in 1452 his workshop. His grandfather was Lorenzo di Bicci (ca. 1350-1427 ). He was active mainly in Florence as a painter of tempera. His diaries, Ricordanze called, written from 1453 to 1475, are now in the archives of the Uffizi.
