Geographical location

Neuhofen is located in the Upper Rhine Valley on the low terrace on the northwestern edge of a peninsular ridge of high shore zone. The municipality is part of the protected landscape area " Pfälzische floodplains ".

Rehbach

Of particular importance for the development and the present townscape Neuhofens is the Rehbach. Economic Development

One of the founding Neuhofens the mills played a major role in the Rehbach. At least three mills there, two of which exist to this day. The Forest Mill (formerly mannheimer fulling mill ) is now a restaurant, the water wheel is dry. Economy and infrastructure

Neuhofen is primarily a residential community for workers of companies in the Rhine- Neckar-Triangle. Neuhofen but also has a commercial area in the west of the village.

Traffic

The B 9 west leads directly past Neuhofen. The connection to the highways 61, 65 and 650 are just a few kilometers away.
