Nicolas Benezet

Nicolas Benezet (* February 24, 1991 in Montpellier ) is a French football player.

Club career

Benezet began playing football in his home town of Montpellier, where he joined in childhood the youth of the local professional club Montpellier HSC. From there, he moved in 2004 to the juniors of nearby rivals Olympique Nîmes. In Nîmes, he was appointed at age 19 for the first time in the second division team and was in a 0-0 draw against FC Istres just that on 15 October 2010 his professional debut, where he appeared as a substitute in the 59th minute; henceforth he first came into regular substitutions before becoming the remainder of the season for regular players. National

During the preparation phase of the U-20 World Cup 2011 Benezet was in the squad of the French U -20 team, for whom he debuted on June 2, 2011, when a 4-1 win against Mexico in the 67th minute it into play came.
