Nicolas Marroc

Nicolas Marroc ( born December 5, 1986 in La -Roche -sur -Yon ) is a French racing driver.

Career

Marroc began his motorsport career in 2004 in karting, where he was active until 2005. Then he gave in 2006 in the French Formula Renault Campus, in which he finished ninth overall in his debut season, made his debut in Formula racing. In 2007, he joined the French Formula Renault and in some races of the Formula Renault 2.0 Euro Cup and stayed at any points in both series. 2008 Marroc received no cockpit for a full season and he played a few races in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and in the Western European Formula Renault, where he finished in 27th place overall with a dot.

2009 saw Marroc in the German Formula 3 Cup and was awarded a fifth place as best result twelfth in the championship. He also completed two guest appearances in the British Formula 3 Championship. For the 2010 season Marroc received the Prema Powerteam a cockpit on the side of Daniel Juncadella for the Formula 3 Euro Series. At the end of the season, he finished with a second place as best result in eleventh place overall. In addition, he was active for Prema in the Italian Formula 3 Championship. He was with a third place as best result Gesamtzwölfter. He also completed guest appearances in the British Formula 3 Championship.

2011 debuted Marroc in GT racing in the International GT Open. He took part in four races and finished 20th in the championship. In addition, he launched the 24- hour race at Le Mans and in the Le Mans Series. He won there once the FLM standings and eventually finished in the sixth place. After the season Marroc returns to Formula racing and entered for Ocean Racing Technology in the GP2 Final in 2011, which he completed on the 18th place, at.
