Nikita Katsalapov

Nikita Gennadjewitsch Kazalapow (Russian: Никита Геннадьевич Кацалапов; * July 10, 1991 in Moscow ) is a Russian figure skater who starts in ice dancing.

His Eistanzpartnerin is Jelena Ilinyh. The pair trained with Alexander Volkov and Oleg Schulin in Moscow.

In 2010, Junior World Champion Ilinych and Kazalapow in The Hague.

In the year 2011 they went third in the Russian Championships and played their first World Cup and European Championship. At the European Championships she finished fourth at the World Championships and seventh place.

As a Russian runner Ilinyh and Kazalapow 2012 won bronze in Sheffield with her ​​first medal at the European Championships. At the world championships in Nice they improved compared to the previous year by two places to rank five and were the best Russian ice dance.

2013 won Kazalapow and Ilinyh at the European Championships in Zagreb the silver medal behind their teammates Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitri Soloviev.

At the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi Kazalapow won the bronze medal in ice dancing with Ilinyh and achieve the Olympic victory with the team.
