Nikita Nesterov
Nikita Danilovich Nesterov (Russian: Никита Данилович Нестеров; * March 28, 1993 in Chelyabinsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since 2013 in the Tampa Bay Lightning in the National Hockey League under contract and playing for the Syracuse Crunch in the American Hockey League.
Career
Nikita Nesterov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk. For the boys team Belje Medwedi he gave in the 2009/10 season his debut in the newly established multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league in which he was mainly active until 2012. In the 2011/12 season he also made his debut for the first team of Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Kontinental Hockey League and was but the beginning of the following season fixed for KHL squad of the club.
In April 2013 Nesterov received by management of the Tampa Bay Lightning a NHL One Stieg three-year contract term. In late summer he participated in the training camp of the NHL franchise and was established in September to the Syracuse Crunch, the farm team of the American Hockey League, sent.
Internationally
For Russia Nesterov took part in the U18 World Junior Championships in 2010 and 2011 and the U20 Junior World Championship 2012. In the 2011 U18 World Championships he won the bronze, at the 2012 U20 World Championship silver medal with his team.
